Modems that are embedded in Delair’s UAS belonging to the Security & Defense product range are certified and tested according to the military standards established by DGA (Direction Générale de l’Armement, the French Government Defence Procurement and Technology Agency).
They are notably fitted with AES128 encryption at minimum, and have an available option for AES256 encryption.
Radio range is about 50km (27 NM).
In terms of EMC, Delair drones are used on a daily basis by operators in conflict zones throughout the world, where GPS jamming attempts are common. There is no record of an accident caused by a jammed GPS; systems are fitted with protective design against such attacks.
